GET YOUR COFFEE THE WAY YOU LIKE IT
Light roasts contain a majority of the distinct qualities of the coffee bean. More acidic and lively by nature, these coffees are more complex and detailed with a relatively light body.
Medium roast coffees are usually slightly sweeter and less acidic than light roasts. They tend to lose some of the finer details of lighter roasts, but offer well-balanced and enjoyable notes with a slightly fuller body.
Darker roasts tend to bring forward more chocolaty and nutty characteristics out of coffee. They are usually more straightforward, intense and full-bodied than light- or medium roast coffees, but carry fewer details and less complexity. Might be a gentler option for someone that has a sensitive stomach.

Kahwe Roastery was founded by a former chef and barista Joel Marttala. Joel has has been working with coffee professionally since 2011. He decided to go into the roasting business because of his passion for great coffee – from origin to roasting and brewing.
