Description
Origin: Kenya, Kirinyaga, Mount Kenya
Producer: Kangaita Tea Factory
Variety: White Tea
Altitude: 1500-2500m
This tea was cultivated on the eastern side of the Rift Valley, a key region in Kenyan tea production. The Kangaita tea factory is a cooperative of Kenyan tea farmers and is located on the southern slopes of snow‑capped Mount Kenya. The elevation created by the Rift Valley ridge system is ideal for tea cultivation, as the high altitude and moist climate help concentrate the flavors.
Kenyan White Silver (or Silver Needle) white tea is known for its particularly soft, sweet and complex flavor profile, which often differs from traditional Chinese grades in its fullness. It is rare and and very high quality tea.
